Debut album by the legendary Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan fame. Get used to the Wu, it's one of my favorite groups of any genre, and this is definitely the first of many posts relating to them.
Some classic material on here. Lots of old school RZA beats with all of the dirty, raw production you know and love. My personal favorite track is probably "Camay" with Raekwon and Cappadonna.

Deftones are, in my opinion, the only band of their genre and style that still hold up well today. Bizarre, almost poetic, lyrics moaned by front man Chino Moreno, angst ridden guitar riffs, groovy beats, and dreamy electronic noises and soundscapes. Nobody can do what the Deftones do, and this is widely agreed to be their magnum opus.

If you like heavy, slow, dark music...then get this. No questions asked. These dudes don't play around, and they're one of the few stoner-metal/sludge acts of today that can hold a candle to Electric Wizard.
